The Coffee Board is a statutory organisation constituted under the Coffee Act, 1942 and functions under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The liaison offices in Meghalaya work under a Joint Director of Extension, Guwahati and offer extension services to the coffee growing farmers of Meghalaya.
