Great to have switched to this high curcumin turmeric and results are outstanding in terms of building up immunity against seasonal change related illnesses, and yet it offers more than this. Use it regularly in your daily meal preparations for your family. It is the one good thing you can do for them to maintain health and vigor.

The orange blossom honey is the best honey i have ever tasted with slight orange flavour in it. The texture of the honey is so smooth , i ate 3 spoons directly. The lakadong turmeric chai is so powerful only a pinch is enough in the milk and you can feel the hard powerful flavour of it. It takes sometime to get adjusted to it.

This drink is what I've always been looking for! When I had the first sip I was like yes! This is it! 1/2th tsp in a mason jar of hot water and you are set in spice haven! It has the perfect blend of spices to enjoy and also curbs your midafternoon snacking! It's very reassuring to know that you are doing your body good by having this drink.

We Know Where Your Food Comes From

Located at the source, the rich natural region of Meghalaya, Zizira works with farmers of Meghalaya. We assure high quality products direct from the source. Watch Elvira’s inspiring story and together let’s make a difference.

Meet Kong Elvira

Zizira sourced this honey from our beekeeper, Kong Elvira, who lives in a remote village called Thieddieng in Mawsynram, East Khasi Hills Meghalaya.

Traditional beekeeping was started many years by her forefathers. It has been their means of living. The bee keepers hunt for bees from the forest and the rear them in traditoinal bee hives called ‘ksing’. When it’s time to take out the honey, they would save some for the bees to feed themselves and stay inside the ‘ksing’.

Where Honey is Sold!

Because of bad roads, Kong Elvira do not prefer taking a vehicle but prefer walking a long distance to sell the honey. A few friends and family members would help her sell her honey in the honey market.

Dreams & Aspirations

Kong Elvira works hard everyday. She does not want to stay where she is. Her dream and passion is to grow her business, rear more bees and encourage other beekeepers and her children to do the same.

She found Zizira on the internet and saw hope in the company. She is happy to work with Zizira to make her dream come alive.

Pure Orange Blossom Honey with a difference.

FAQ

What is the manufacturing date?

The current batch of Zizira Sweet Orange Blossom honey has been harvested from the bee hives in the month of October.

When will I receive my order?

It takes 8-10 working days to reach you from the date of order.

What’s special about Zizira Honey?

Zizira Honey is pure, natural, raw and unprocessed. It has been tested free of artificial additives, coloring or preservative. It’s color & flavor depends directly on the source (orange orchards in Mawsynram in this case) of the nectar.

Obtained from the traditional beekeepers of Meghalaya with years of indigenous knowledge, Zizira’s pure Orange blossom (uniflora honey) is made from sun-soaked pollen and nectar collected by bees.

Zizira’s Orange Blossom honey has a mild citrus flavor and is light in color with a refreshing scent. It is unprocessed and comes to you straight from the honeycomb, retaining all its nutrients, just as found in nature.

Local folks from Meghalaya love this honey for its delightful taste and for its multiple all-around uses.

I have a question, can you answer?

Yes. You can call or whatsapp us on +91 8119840256.

Why does honey foam?

Foaming in honey is a natural phenomenon. During the packaging stage air bubbles gets trapped inside the containing vessel.

These rise to the surface and blend with particulates like propolis, wax or pollen to form a foamy layer present in honey.

Foaming is a sign that honey is pure and unprocessed!

Why is the previous batch honey different from this batch?

Rainfall and cool climatic conditions affect the flowers growing every season which gives the honey a unique identity everytime it is harvested.

Zizira’s wildflower honey is pure and raw. It’s obtained from the sun-soaked pollen and nectar collected by bees in the summer months. It’s color & flavor depends directly on the source (orange orchards of Mawsynram in this case) of the nectar.

Hence you might see an inconsistency in our honey. But rest assured, these are safe and we have tested it.
